Eligibility criteria

Secondary School Diploma entitling the candidate to undertake bachelor level education with transcript of subjects and grades (with apostille or legalized). It is necessary to provide a English language certificate knowledge at a level corresponding to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Qualifications ( as listed in the Rector's Order number 82)

Qualification principles

1) Oral examination in Polish, excluding candidates distinguished in §18 point 4 of Resolution No. 46 of the UMK Senate of 25 June 2024 on the conditions and procedure for admission foreigners for the first year of studies in the academic year 2025/2026 at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. The examination tests the knowledge and predispositions of candidates to undertake studies in the selected field, level and profile of education. The examination is assessed on a scale of 0-100 points. The minimum qualification is 40 points.

2) Selective/competitive admission based on high school (graduation) diploma grades/scores. The selection procedure takes into account the results from a subject (see the list below) that most beneficial for the candidate and the result from English.
